New 13-story, 68,000 SF mixed-use hotel featuring a 6-floor hotel and 7-story residential building. The development includes 170 guest rooms, a fitness facility, a 1,500 SF indoor pool, a 6,000 SF restaurant, a 3,000 SF commercial kitchen, and 40,000 SF of retail space. The mechanical design utilizes water-source heat pump systems for both the hotel and residence (operating as separate systems), supported by four cooling towers that provide heat rejection for the building’s centralized water loop. Energy-recovery units capture exhaust from guest rooms and residential spaces to supply fresh air to the corridors and concierge level. A fully integrated smoke-exhaust system serves the hotel to ensure code compliance and life-safety performance. The facility also includes a dedicated fire pump system to provide reliable fire protection support throughout the building.
